Why we built this
Dental front desks are overwhelmed. Two receptionists handling 400 patients, phones ringing through lunch, voicemails that get returned the next morning — or not at all. Patients who call after hours to ask about a sore tooth end up booking at the practice down the street. This is the reality for most practices, and it costs real revenue.
The tools that existed before weren't wrong, just limited. Weave made the phones better. Solutionreach automated the reminders. NexHealth made booking work online. But none of them answered the phone with AI that could actually have a real conversation, understand the patient's history, and put an appointment on the books at 9pm on a Tuesday.
AI is now good enough to change that. Not chatbot-level AI — genuine conversational AI that knows your practice, recognizes your patients, and books correctly into your real schedule. We built ForgeDental to deploy that capability into every dental practice, not just the ones that can afford an enterprise software team.
